The Cat Eye Cabaret is a Neo-Burlesque collective. This means we create burlesque performances that challenge what burlesque is and what it can be, together as an ensemble. We support each other in the creation of new solo acts, duets, and group acts. Our shows are themed but our artists are unique and varied- meaning each act of each show feels fresh and exciting, while our shows feel like a complete experience.

Our collective was founded by Madame Donna Lasage in 2019 and we have been creating performances since 2022. Today, we are managed by Lola Nightshade, Lillie Woods, Venus Furieuse and Tabu LaRosa. Our collective also includes Vivienne Silverline, Matcha Magick, Polly Panther, Daisy Chain, Renoux Megane and Dahlia Noir.

We have performed in Utrecht, Gouda, Tilburg, and we are coming to Rotterdam in February! In 2025 alone, we performed together 6 times. Since we love EKKO Utrecht so much, and they love us back, we have made EKKO our home- where we get to bring you 4 fresh shows every single year!

Our mission

The Cat Eye Cabaret is dedicated to practicing, promoting, and celebrating the art of burlesque and its subgenres, alongside other dance and theatrical forms. We strive to create an inclusive, empowering, and creative community where artistry and activism meet — fostering self-expression, challenging stereotypes, and making space for diverse voices. Through performance, education, and collaboration, we aim to share the transformative power of burlesque with audiences and participants alike, while supporting the growth, visibility, and professional development of burlesque artists in the Netherlands and beyond.
